What are you training for?
If you're going to keep your training up and really see improvements - then the most important thing is that you enjoy it.
You can set your goals for weight loss, fat loss, muscle building ... whatever ... but if you dont enjoy your training - you won't keep it up.
Make enjoyment (and consistancy) your main objectives!
Keep it interesting!
Over time your mind and your body both get used to (and bored of) the same exercise routine. And the more your body gets used to the routine - the less likely you are to see results.
Vary your exercise routine - the exercises, the order and routine, the times you train for and how you conduct your session.
Examples of how I break up my routines:
- Tabatas for 4 different exercises or
- 5 chin ups, 10 situps, 15 burpess, 20 star jumps - rest 30 seconds and start again to see how many times you can do this in 20 minutes or
- Run for 10 minutes - do 20 x exercise - run for 10 minutes and repeat or
- ... something else!
The hardest part is getting started - so if you haven' already ... then make sure to join my mailing list by entering your details in the box at the top - right hand corner of this page!
See you on the other side!!
